Terms of service
Draft under review. Highlighted items are still being confirmed.
These terms cover your use of websitune.com, the Websitune client portal and our services. A signed quote or the Websitune Care agreement adds project-specific terms; if they conflict with this page, the signed document wins.
Our services
- Website builds are agreed and paid for offline, based on a written quote that sets out scope, price, timeline and deliverables.
- Websitune Care is a monthly plan for looking after a live website. What it includes — and what is quoted separately — is described on the Care plan scope page.
The client portal
- Access is by invitation only. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your organization's admin decides who on your side should have access; we set it up at their request.
- Don't upload anything unlawful or anything you don't have the right to share, and don't try to access other clients' data or disrupt the service.
- We may suspend access to protect the service or other clients, and will tell you why.
Your content and assets
Your business content, logos, photos and domain stay yours. Your domain and hosting accounts should be registered in your name; Websitune manages them with your authorization. Ownership of the website's source code and designs is set out in your quote: [To confirm: default IP / source-code ownership position].
Fees and payment
Prices are in Indian rupees. Websitune Care is [To confirm: ₹1,000 per month per website — inclusive or exclusive of GST], billed monthly in advance. Work outside Care is only started after you accept a written quote. Refunds and cancellations follow our refund and cancellation policy.
Availability
We work hard to keep websites and the portal running, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and some outages come from third parties (hosting providers, domain registrars, payment providers). Monitoring alerts us to problems so we can act quickly.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to [To confirm: liability cap, e.g. fees paid in the previous 3 months], and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the relationship
You can cancel Websitune Care at any time; it stops at the end of the paid month. When we part ways we will hand over access and files as described in your agreement, so your website stays under your control.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [To confirm: city for jurisdiction] have jurisdiction. We will always try to resolve a problem by talking first — write to hello@websitune.com.
